For the last few years, I’ve been working closely with Dstillery to develop a variety of consumer tools within the digital advertising space. As we collaborated with data scientists and engineers to create tools for their clients to manage and understand their audiences, it felt like a revamp of the corporate website would be in order. With every new product, we were enabling their customers the ability to effectively understand their data. We wanted to convey to potential customers that same feeling—data isn’t scary.
Working closely with their marketing team, I was able to develop a responsive, SEO-friendly website that is easy to maintain and expandable in an extremely timely manner. All powered by WordPress. I was able to understand their pain points while creating website content that consists of highlighting research efforts by data scientists, relevant business-related articles as well as announcing new product features and partnerships. Through the new Dstillery.com, they are able to highlight the content through reusable widgets which are all entirely controlled by the marketing team.
While there are still a few more sections that are currently being built, it’s satisfying to share the work that has been completed thus far given that I had limited experience with WordPress Theme Development in the past. I was able to create a foundation for Dstillery to continually build upon with or without development experience as well as empower them to generate highly effective content.
