From A(mazon) to Z(eppelin)

Some details emerged today about Amazon’s “floating warehouses” and drone delivery ideas, which were originally patented back in 2015. Crazy interesting stuff. Jeff Bezoz and Amazon are certainly not shy about pushing the envelope.

Amazon calls it an AFC – Airborne Fulfillment Center. The warehouse would fly at 45,000 ft while drones would pick up and deliver your orders to your back yards. It raises all kinds of questions about fuel, resupply, air traffic control … and the future of eCommerce.

Geeks, patent lawyers and finance people are all talking about it…

Seems so unlikely with our current tech, but who knows about the future of “pick, pack, ship”?
