We had an authentic geek-out moment at the office this morning thanks to the Google Translate app (for iOS or Android). We watched a phone translate written Japanese into English… through it’s camera view via augmented reality! It’s kind of crazy and a little creepy, but mostly just plain awesome.

RhinoCo Fitness was founded in 2007 with the goal of making fitness more accessible by using connected technology to deliver essential tools, supplements, and training programs to people across the world. In 2010 RhinoCo partnered with Reebok to open the first Reebok Crossfit Gym, which quickly became the highest-grossing retail store for Reebok and a world-renowned fitness center for RhinoCo.

LeapDroid is a decent Android emulator. Google just bought them. Seems like a small news item, since LeapDroid only started in 2015, but the implications are big.

Android Full-Disk Encryption is Weak
Android devices running on Qualcomm chips are at serious risk of being cracked. Apparently unlike iOS devices, Android devices store full-disk encryption keys in software, software that can be cracked – easily.
