Boyle Software now has a development environment for Drupal, one of the better open-source cms (content management system) tools available. Employees interested in getting some experience with Drupal can contact John, Uwe or Dan for access.
Several of our clients are using it already, more are interested. Its good for collaborative authoring, newsletters, social networking sites and so forth. Based on PHP and MySQL, this is a real open-source platform. Its easily extensible with themes and plug-ins. There is a "drupalcon" convention in Boston later this year. Thousands of developers have and continue to contribute.
And don't forget we also have a joomla dev environment for anyone interested. That's another popular open-source cms system.
Drupal is a free software package that allows an individual or a community of users to easily publish, manage and organize a wide variety of content on a website. Tens of thousands of people and organizations have used Drupal to power scores of different web sites.
