Following on the heals of its financial contributions, Boyle Software donated hardware, services and hosting support for the non-profit group AID FOR AIDS.
"The AID FOR AIDS office was in pretty bad shape," said Sasha Levchuk, Senior Systems Administrator at Boyle Software. "They had a collection of ancient and partially kaputt machines - all previous donations from various other supporters. The machines had different operating systems and no real network security; so, we brought in newer machines with more horsepower and standardized them on the Windows 2000 operating system."
In addition to the hardware and increased network security Boyle Software also took over hosting the group's web sites and email accounts for free. Boyle Software hopes to help further by developing a new centralized database for managing their pharma inventories and patient records.

AID FOR AIDS is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization committed to improving the quality of life of Africans, Caribbean and Latino American living with HIV/AIDS and their caregivers by providing access to medications, education and promoting leadership and capacity building.
AID FOR AIDS provides case management services for HIV infected Latin American immigrants living in New York City and serves as a liaison between them and specialized social workers adept at linking HIV immigrants to medical care and pharmaceutical assistance programs.
Equally important, AID FOR AIDS collects HIV medication and supplies that are no longer needed in United States, and then distribute it to needy individuals in Latin American countries. We do this because the very high price of these drugs makes them impossible to afford for people living in these countries.
