In The Field is a web-based application that allows producers to more easily share information, such as crop availability and desired price, and it makes it possible for Field Goods to manage orders and request specific products. By reducing the costs of managing the supply chain and increasing transparency, this new tool lets Field Goods continue to partner with a broad range of local producers even as they scale up the business.
In short, this new application helps Field Goods multiply their impact on the local economy. [Source]

We had a great time last week at our annual summer party for Boyle Software staff, family, and friends. Though some ominous clouds rolled in and a few drops of rain were felt, our sunset sailing excursion on the Hudson was a success all around. The sun did make an appearance, beaming its red and orange glow beneath the cloud cover as it sank behind the New Jersey horizon!
Anchors aweigh! Boyle Software’s annual summer party for staff, clients, and friends is this coming Thursday – and what a night it should be! We’ll be taking a sunset sail on the Hudson aboard the handsome 105′ Schooner America 2.0, departing from its dock at Chelsea Piers on Manhattan’s west side.
Kudos to our client Vroom who yesterday rolled out a new way for their customers to shop their inventory of cars – using virtual reality! This groundbreaking new way of browsing vehicles – and even taking virtual test drives – will initially be rolled out in Vroom’s showrooms in Houston and Dallas, in the heart of Texas, but you can see where the future is headed…
We are happy to announce that Boyle Software’s relationship with cosmetics giant Avon continues – now with the newly formed New Avon LLC, as the company’s North American division has recently been rechristened. It’s a privilege to lend technical expertise and support to a brand as universally recognized and respected as Avon.
Start your engines! Vroom – the Web’s biggest car store – has just joined Boyle Software’s client roster. We are looking forward to ramping up several projects for Vroom, a company that is upending traditional automotive sales. Utilizing a mix of Microsoft and open source technologies, we are eager to help Vroom continue its exponential growth in the buying, selling, and trading-in of used cars all across the USA.
